Our school Principal, Xu Phil, has won the Rotary Club "Community Service Award" and the "Excellent Chinese Language Education Award" jointly issued by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council and the China Overseas Exchange Association. The award aims to encourage outstanding teachers who have been working in the field of education for a long time. The award is not only a recognition of Principal Xu Phil, but also a great encouragement to our school's Chinese language education.
Deputy Principal Chen Wu, who has a master's degree in Chinese Language and Linguistics from a renowned university in China, has been teaching in Australia for over thirty years and has been awarded the title of "Excellent Overseas Chinese Teacher".
Teacher Lin Jianling has been engaged in Chinese teaching since 1995 and has nearly thirty years of rich teaching experience. She has professional teacher qualifications from the Australian Language School, is familiar with modern language teaching concepts, and can flexibly use diverse teaching methods, adapting to multicultural teaching environments, and is committed to creating a positive, interesting, and inspiring learning atmosphere for students, helping each learner to confidently improve their Chinese abilities.
As a school organization based on the community, we highly value social participation.
We believe that parents' participation is the key to students achieving the best learning results. Parents play a crucial role in helping students overcome the challenges of learning Chinese. The parent social platform exchange at the class level has also become a necessary setting in our school process.
Our parent committee members actively contribute their strength, assisting the school in ground patrols and managing the Chinese library service during class. In addition, they also help organize various activities, including educational seminars, our annual speech day, and teacher's day card design competitions, etc.
We are very grateful for the parents' firm support and dedication, they are an indispensable part of our school community's success!
